- Hand grabs poster and crushes it up, camera zooms out to mid shot of wall and the hand throws the paper in the bin next to the wall.
- Camera cuts to a tracking shot of women talking down graveyard, music begins low and sad tune.
- Mid shot of women joining a group of others at a funeral in the graveyard.
- close up of guests at funeral looking sad.
- Another mid shot and close ups.
- Wide shot of guests walking away from the funeral in different directions.
- Camera follows the girl from before as she walks off alone down a path in graveyard.
- Camera facing the girl tracking her as she walks.
- Camera cuts to behind the girl, still following her as she walks but now she from behind.
- A diegetic ping sound is heard and the girls phone brightly lights up in her hand.
- Girl and camera come to a hold and stop moving (Camera still behind the girl).
- Girl moves her hand with the phone in it higher up nearer her face.
- Camera zooms into the phone.
- Music automatically changes to a creepy sound.
- A message notification is on the bright iPhone scene.
- Camera cuts to a mid of the phone screen, and the name of the "dead" friend appears with the message saying "I know what you did".
- Opening sequence ends and screen goes black
