Today our whole group was here! We all got together and spoke through our rough final idea. We have settled on my idea about the two girls and the exorcism. I read out the shot by shot and everyone inputed their ideas and together we contiued to develop it. We then made a rough story board that included the basic outline of the opening title sequence. The story board will continue to develop in the future but for now it displays a rough idea of what we could see in the shots.
- a wide shot of the girls in a wood cabin or tent in the woods
- an extreme close up of their pinkies linking
- a close up of girl 1 crying and then zoom closer onto her eyes
- transition where the close up of the eyes cuts to the same position but back in the woods
- parents and priest standing in doorway
- girls laughing together
- girl 1 scuttling backwards
- one of the girls brushes hair behind the other girls ear
- brids eye view of her getting restrained to the bed
- close up of girl tracing circles on other girls arm
- mid shot of the mum nodding to the priest
- various close ups of the preists belongings e.g. a bible, cross, chalice with holy water etc
- side view of her struggling so both parents are visible at different levels/angels
- birds eye view of her struggling
- shot of the priest holding a cross over her body
- close up of priest mubling prayer
- mid shot of priest screaming prayer
- close up on each parents expression - mum crying, dad stern
- birds eye view of her lying there feeling numb
- very fast flickering edit of all of the previous moment that only takes a few seconds
- mid shot of girls looking at each other and saying I love you
